Cookie policy
Pixelity does not use cookies, first-party or third-party, and does not track you. It only saves in your browser what is essential for the features you use. That is why we do not show you a consent banner.
1. What is saved in your browser
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
pixelity-lang | localStorage | Remember the language you chose. | Until you delete it |
pixelity-theme | localStorage | Remember the light or dark theme. | Until you delete it |
pixelity-infer-times-v1 | localStorage | Store how long the AI took on this device, to show you an estimated progress percentage. | Until you delete it |
pixelity-watermark | localStorage | Remember the text and settings of your last watermark (only if you use that feature). | Until you delete it |
pixelity-watermark-stamp | localStorage | Remember the stamp you uploaded (your logo or signature) so you do not have to upload it again. Only if you use a stamp and it is smaller than about 450 KB; it is deleted with “Remove this stamp”. | Until you delete it |
pixelity-models-v1 | Cache Storage | Keep the downloaded AI models and the engine that runs them so they are not downloaded again (up to about 430 MB, depending on the features you use). | Until you delete it |
Your browser also keeps the app files in its regular cache, as with any website.
None of this is sent to anyone or used to track you. It contains no information about the photos you edit; only the watermark keeps what you type or upload for it (for example your name or logo), and it stays on your device.
2. Why there is no cookie banner
The law (for example, the EU ePrivacy Directive) requires consent to store information on your device, except when it is strictly necessary for a service you explicitly request, such as remembering a preference you choose or keeping the AI model you use. Everything Pixelity saves falls under that exception.
Visit statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) use no cookies and store nothing on your device. If we ever add cookies or storage that are not necessary (for example, ads), we will ask for your permission first and you will be able to refuse.
3. How to delete it
You can delete all of it from your browser settings, in the site data or cookies section, by choosing this site. If you do, Pixelity will keep working: it will just go back to the default language and theme and download the models again when you need them.
